Robert J. "Bob" Art's Obituary
Robert J. “Bob” Art, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was born on July 22, 1950, to Dr. James and Donna (Senters) Art in Canton, OH. Bob was a driven man, opening his own company Park Lake Services, dedicating many years working on engines. He also worked for Snell and All-American Harley-Davidson shops and the White Lake Marina, all of which working on various types of engines. Bob could fix just about any problem that came his way. On July 23, 1994, he married Myra Ellis in Muskegon State Park, with the beautiful lake and sunset accompanying them. Together they cherished 29 years full of love and endless laughter. In his earlier years, Bob enjoyed spending his time outdoors either fishing or hunting. He loved heading to Montague with Myra spending their time camping and making memories with their friends. Bob enjoyed cruising the streets on his motorcycles or adding to his already extraordinary gun collection. He could easily fill a room with laughter and always brought a smile to your face. His loving and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Myra Art; two children, Christina (Eric) Nichols and Ryan (Heather) Art; two step-children, Dennis Sanders and Shelley VandenBosch; three grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin and Grace; numerous step-grandchildren; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jack Art. Per Bob’s request, no funeral services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Egelston Township Cemetery.
