Mr. Robert Beane's Obituary
Robert Beane, age 88, passed away January 23, 2015. Bob was born August 17, 1926 to Claude and Julia (Erikson) Beane in Muskegon. He served his country in the US Army during WWII and was employed as a machine builder at Breneman Inc. for 25 years, retiring in 1990. On September 17, 1947 he married the former Zelda L. Morrow. Bob loved watching sports, especially the Lions and Tigers. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking; building many birdhouses for family members. He is SURVIVED by his wife of 67 years, Zelda Beane; his daughters, Deborah (William) Farwig, Barbara (Michael) Hoeker and Pamela (Graham) Weeks; grandchildren, William, Robert and Steven Farwig, Kristen and Jennifer Hoeker; Kevin and Jessica Kozel; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry, Edward and Herman. A private family service will be held at a later date.
