Robert W. "Bob" Beecham's Obituary
Robert W. “Bob” Beecham, age 82, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was born on September 25, 1937 to John “Gurnee” and Rose (King) Beecham in Muskegon, MI and has lived here his whole life. He was a proud veteran, serving his country in the US Army. He dedicated his life working as an independent sales representative for various companies. On June 23, 1962 he married the love of his life, the former Marilyn “Kay” Disbennett in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 57 years of marriage full of love and laughter. Bob was known to be an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He truly enjoyed bird watching and admiring nature for its beauty. Above all things, he loved his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his outgoing and charming personality. He was a vivacious and tender-loving soul who will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Kay Beecham; 2 children, Lee Ann (Chris) Lundeen and Jason (Sue) Beecham; 5 grandchildren, Conner Lundeen, Hannah Lundeen, Alex Beecham, Eryn Beecham and Easton Beecham; 2 sisters, Jean Thiesen and Ann Beauregard; 2 brothers, Duane “Joe” (Ruth Ann) Beecham and John (Cathy) Beecham; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Beecham; sister, Sandra (Terry) Porter; 2 brothers-in-law, Ken Thiesen and Larry Beaurgard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Parish, 920 Fulton St, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 4-6:00PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Cremation & Funeral Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
