Mr. Robert "Bobby" Blackwell's Obituary
Robert Reed Blackwell, age 58, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 6, 2012, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born November 4, 1953 in Muskegon to Daniel and Marie (Reed) Blackwell. Bobby was a graduate of Muskegon High School and spent many years working with Ace Music and Shoreline Petroleum. Bobby had served as a trustee for the Lithuanian Club as well as having memberships at Tatra Hall and the Muskegon Eagles Aerie 668. On July 3, 1999, he married the former Laura Lynn McGraw and she survives him. Bobby was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family. In addition to his wife Laura, Bobby is survived by his children, Ryan Ann Blackwell and Jason (Crystal) Blackwell, all of Muskegon; stepchildren, Kathleen Robertson, Nikki Korkoskie, Samantha Korkoskie, Deanna Korkoskie and Jamie Korkoskie, all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Fort Collins, CO., Donna Hunt and JoAnn (Daniel) Gaunt, all of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Stephen Blackwell and James (Debbie) Blackwell, all of Muskegon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Peter Thomas. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Lithuanian Club, 2152 Ninth St. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family.
