Bob was such a warm, welcoming, gracious and engaging person. I worked with Inge at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and we would all share about our mutual experiences with life at the camp and in the community. Bob also had enlightening historical insights to share as well as valuable perspectives from his travels and time spent abroad. He frequently had a charming and humorous story to tell in addition. I was impressed by his knowledge and understanding and his openness to the world of ideas and cultures, while I admired his humanity and generous personality.
