Robert F. Dubault's Obituary
Mr. Robert F. Dubault, age 81, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born on February 3, 1936 in Muskegon to Hawley and Constance (Way) Dubault. On June 17, 1977, he married Kaylen Jean Champayne. Together they enjoyed 39 years of marriage prior to Kaylen’s passing in 2016. Robert retired after 42 years from Lift-Tech International, was an avid golfer and enjoyed card games, crossword puzzles and the Detroit Red Wings. He was also a member of the Vikings and Oakridge Golf Club. SURVIVORS include his children, Julie (Mark) Downing, Corrin (L.C.) Cobb, Rob (Cathleen) Dubault and Amy (Dennis Bringedahl) Dubault; step-children, Scott Sova, Shelly (Sam) DeMarco and Sue (Henry) Miller; brothers, Jim Dubault, John (Shirley Potempa) Dubault and Tom (Rita) Dubault. He also is survived by five grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Beekman. A CATHOLIC MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) with Rev. Fr. Charles D. Hall presiding. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-7 PM on Friday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.
