Robert Gene "Bert" Edsall's Obituary
Robert Gene “Bert” Edsall, age 70, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024. He was born June 15, 1953 in Muskegon to Henry Jr and Lillian D. (Rosema) Edsall and lived all of his life in the area. Bert worked over 40 years as a Tool and Die Maker for Intricate Grinding & Machine Specialties, Inc. in Norton Shores and retired in 2021. Bert enjoyed working on his cars and occasional trips to the casinos. He is survived by 3 sons, Robert Edsall, Ryan Edsall, Jared (Allison) Edsall; 2 grandchildren, Hudson Robert Edsall, Madilyn Grace Edsall; 2 brothers, James (Cheryl) Edsall, Chuck (Cathy) Edsall; 1 brother-in-law, Steve Kline; 1 sister-in-law, Cindy Edsall; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Kathleen Kline; and 1 brother, Henry Edsall. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 9, 2024 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444, with Rev. William J. Rudd officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will take place at Twin Lake Cemetery.
