Robert "Bob" Fedewa's Obituary
Robert Joseph “Bob” Fedewa, age 86, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 6, 1934, in Fowler, MI.
He graduated from Fowler High School and went on to work for Michigan Gas Utilities, for many years. He was a member and attended both St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Bob was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He also enjoyed bowling in the Ten Pin Bowling League at Starlite Lanes, Bob loved spending time in Cocoa Beach, Fl with Kathy and enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He was an avid car show enthusiast, showing off his silver smoke 1965 Mustang convertible, which he won many awards with. Bob knew how to have fun! He will be missed for his quick wit, sense of humor and loving support of his family and friends.
He is lovingly remembered by his life partner of thirty-eight years, Kathy Hecht; daughter, Lanna Fedewa; two grandchildren, Reid Kwiatkowski and Addison Kwiatkowski; sister, Janice (Steve) Holmes; brother, Doug (Kim) Johns; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita (Fedewa) Johns and stepfather, Lewis D. Johns of Lansing, MI.
A private graveside service will be held at Lake Forest Cemetery with Rev. David Gross officiating. Memorial contributions to Momentum Center of Grand Haven are appreciated.
