Robert L. French's Obituary
Robert Lloyd French Sr. age 72, of Ravenna died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Poppen Hospice Residence surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born on May 4, 1939 in Saginaw, Mi to the late Leon and Florence (Peterson) French. He was owner of Bob’s Bearing Supply in Ravenna.
Bob is survived by: 2 Daughters: Marva J. (Rob) Zeldenrust of Fremont and Ann M. (Butch) Helsen of Ravenna. 1 Son: Robert L. (Debra) French Jr. of Ravenna. 7 Grandchildren. 1 Sister: Sally Wagner and Gordon Macdonald of Ravenna. Long time companion and girlfriend: Darlene Wagner of Ravenna.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Robert will be conducted on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be present at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm & 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends. Also at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Monday.
Memorials may be directed to the Poppen Hospice Home or First Reformed Church of Ravenna.
