Robert "Bob" Hill's Obituary
Mr. Robert J E “Bob” Hill, age 85, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, in Muskegon. Bob was born April 28, 1934 to Eino and Siama (Witri) Hill in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Bob was a family man, love time at the cabin, and active in various community groups. On June 19, 1954 Bob married Mary A. Yarranton, and she survives him along with 2 children: Richard (Laretta) Hill, Diane (Mark) Aamodt; daughter-in-law: Melissa Hill; 4 grandchildren: John Hill III, Audrey (Ricky) Campbell, Austin (Kilee) Aamodt, Evan (Calie) Aamodt. Bob was preceded in death by his son Robert Jr., brothers Oliver and Paul Hill, and his sister Ruth Kauppila. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 20, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Contributions in memory of Mr. Hill may be made to St. Mary’s Church, or the Viking Burn Camp. Arrangements are by The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W.
