Robert Lee Jamison's Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Jamison, age 80, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Muskegon. He was born in Sherrill, Arkansas on April 9, 1941 to Jessie and Mary (O’Hair) Jamison and was a graduate of Reeths Puffer High School. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by Eagle Ottawa Leather prior to his retirement. Robert was a member of the VFW Post #9388 and the Masonic King David Lodge #20. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and blues music. Robert is survived by his children, Beverly (Kevin Sr.) Battle, David Jamison, and Harold (Jasmin) McKinney; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Corshawn) Battle-Brayboy, Kevin (Kenna) Battle Jr., Tamara Fox, David Jamison Jr., Derick Jamison, Jenell McKinney, and DeShone Deeren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Florida Clark and Albirda (Simm) Ray; and sister-in-law, Betty Jamerson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eller Sturges; brother, Sammy Jamerson; and brother-in-law, Tom Sturges. VISITATION will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday, June 17, 2021 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. Burial will be in Ft.
