Robert C. Kelley's Obituary
Mr. Robert C. Kelley, age 84, of Grand Haven passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake. He was born June 10, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert H. Kelley and Carol (Bray) Kelley. In October of 1965 he married Rita (Sayles) in Muskegon, MI.
Robert was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, was president of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, a former member of the Muskegon Yacht Club, the Austin Healey Club in Rhode Island, and was also a member of Mensa. His diverse design career included the areas of yachts, motor homes, toys, and exercise equipment and he was responsible for several patents.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rita; two sons, Robert H. Kelley II (Staci) of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Michael S. Kelley of North Kingstown, RI; two granddaughters, Rowan Kelley and Tara Kelley.
