Robert J. Langan's Obituary
Mr. Robert J. Langan age 86, passed away on July 22, 2013 at Brookhaven in Muskegon. He was born on July 31, 1926 to Patrick “John” and Bessie (VanVoorst) Langan in Muskegon. Robert had a long working career at Browne-Morse prior to his retirement in 1981. He was an avid Detroit Tiger’s fan. Bob loved the care he received both from the staff at Brookhaven and from Harbor Hospice. On July 29, 1967 he married Stena and she preceded him in death on 1985. Survivors include 3 children, Beverly Barber, Douglas (Lil) Langan and Richard (Jean) Langan; 2 step-children, Carol Zuidema and Linda Fyan; 4 grandchildren; brother, Jack (Jan) Langan; special friends, Beatrice and William Freeman and many special nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2013 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
