Played a lot of Hockey with Gene in the 70's and 80's at the LC and Galaxy Arena. Gene was a good friend with always a smile and a very nice personality. We fell out of touch in later years although I would run into him from time to time. My Deepest Sympathy to the family.

My sincere condolences to Jeanne, Sue and Gene and the entire Lowder family for your loss. I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Gene in the mid 70's at what is now Lakeshore Sports Center. He was a great guy and will be missed.
