Robert "Max" Jones' Obituary
Mr. Robert “Max” “Quack-Quack” Jones, age 79, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Muskegon. He was born June 6, 1935 in Muskegon to Thaddeus and Wilma (Millard) Jones; and had resided in the area most of his life. Max had been employed at CWC Textron for 30years, prior to his retirement in 1999, as a Grinder. He was a member of Local Union #539. He was married to the former Patricia Haaser and she preceded him in death in 1998. SURVIVORS include his mother, Wilma Jones of Baldwin, MI; 1 son, Rob Jones II of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Trevor Jones and by his sister, Roberta “Barb” (Dale) Hill of Baldwin, MI. SERVICES will be held 12 Noon Monday, May 4, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, (231)-798-1100 with the Rev. Fr Michael Olson, presiding. VISITATION will be 5-7:00PM Sunday and 11-12Noon on Monday. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. For a more lasting memorial, you are asked to consider the Muskegon Humane Society.
