Robert R. McGregor's Obituary
Robert R. McGregor, age 61, passed away unexpectedly November 22, 2018. He was born January 26, 1957 in Muskegon to William and Bonnie (Dewey) McGregor. Rob was a graduate of Muskegon High School in 1975 where he played his trombone in the band. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. On June 3, 1978 he married the former Suzanne “Sue” Bourdon in Muskegon. He was a member of Oak Crest Church of God, where he played his trombone and sang with the worship team. Rob loved spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren and attending their sporting events and school functions. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS include his wife, Sue; 2 daughters: Michelle (Ryan) Stanfield, Kelley Chirco; 5 grandchildren: Hayden, Emalee, Corbyn, Austin, and Halo; father, William “Bill” McGregor; brother, Mark (Kathy) McGregor; sister, Gayle (Joe) Hewitt; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie McGregor. A CELEBRATION OF ROB’S LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Oak Crest Church of God (1540 Leonard Ave., Muskegon 49442).
