Mr. Robert "Bob/Robin" Mines' Obituary
Mr. Robert W. “Bob/Robin” Mines, 78, passed away early Saturday morning, September 13, 2014 in Muskegon. He was born July 10, 1936 to Stephen D. and Bessie M. (Reed) Mines in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Bob worked at Muskegon Piston Ring for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. On October 13, 1956 he married Nancy I. Alvord, and she preceded him in death on February 21, 1982. SURVIVORS include2 children, Sharron L. Mines of Muskegon, Thomas A. Mines of Nunica; 2 grandchildren, Stacy M. (Chris) Ulrich of Twin Lake, Stephen M. Zadel of Dallas, TX; 2 brothers, Stephen D. (Michelle) Mines of Grant, Michael A. (Mary) McGrady of Montgue; 2 sisters, Theresa Weller of Muskegon, Josephine “Josie” (Ed) Olshaske of Muskegon. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Bessie (McGrady) Mines; and his sister Romell Mines. The Funeral Service for Mr. Mines will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 17, at
