I can't think of Bob without smiling. He added humor or a laugh to everything he did. He was a great teacher to many from little league to camping to cleaning fish and hunting. He was a self taught man who would help anyone. His wild game dinners were a treat and the "mystery meat" is still a mystery.
I didn't spend much time with Bob the last several years but I sure have great camping memories with him from Manton. My first trip with him on the Manistee River I brought a little 6" Pine Tree home, it is now 50 feet tall. I think of Bob whenever I look at it. It's reaching to the Heavens saying Thanks for all the Good Times and Memories you left us with.
You will be missed. RIP Bob
