Robert James Pavlic's Obituary
Robert James Pavlic, age 80, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was born August 10, 1938 in Muskegon Heights, MI to Sebastian and Catherine (Crocker) Pavlic and was a life resident of the area. Robert was a graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central Class of 1957 and a proud supporter of University of Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked 25 years as an electrician for Dresser Industries and retired in 2004 after working more than 15 years at Sealed Power Corp. Post retirement, he continued working part-time for the City of Norton Shores for more than 10 years. Robert was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #706. Robert was a member of the West Michigan Mustang Club as he was a proud owner of a 1966 Mustang taking part in many shows and parades. He also volunteered his time for the USS Silversides Submarine and Museum. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Victoria Pavlic of Norton Shores, Robert Pavlic of Ann Arbor; his former spouse, Hazel Pavlic Johnson of Norton Shores; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; 2 generations of nieces and nephews; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Louis Pavlic and 1 sister, Margaret Siemen. Private services have been conducted. Arrangements handled by The Lee Chapel, 6291 S.
