Mr. Robert Leroy Pearson's Obituary
Mr. Robert Leroy Pearson, age, 74 went to be with his Lord on April 2, 2015. Bob was born in Muskegon on February 2, 1941 to Alfred and Lila (West) Pearson. In 1960 he married the former Sally Gustafson and together they were blessed with 2 daughters. Bob worked as a truck driver for 37 years before his retirement in 2003. He was a former member of Orchard View Congregational Church where he was an active Deacon for many years. Later in life he regularly attended Olivet Evangelical Free Church. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, NASCAR and being with his family. Bob was a caring, intelligent, selfless, generous person who was always willing to give a helping hand. He will be deeply missed. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 11AM at Olivet Evangelical Free Church 6790 Harvey St. VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Olivet Evangelical Free Church. Arrangements are being handled by The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100.
