Robert F. "Bob" Perry Jr.'s Obituary
Robert F. “Bob” Perry, Jr., met his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on November 22, 1938 to Robert and Helen (Hosko) Perry, Sr. in Muskegon and has remained a lifelong resident. He graduated from Muskegon High School class of 1957, Go Big Reds! Bob dedicated many years working at Sealed Power before retiring in 1999. He was a faithful servant and a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. On November 22, 1958, he married the love of his life, Marlene Workman, in Muskegon. Together they cherished 58 years full of love, laughter and endless adventures. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, gardening and camping. Bob was also a talented bowler, amazing cook and the Big Reds biggest fan. He and Marlene enjoyed 45 years under the lights cheering on their favorite team, the Big Reds! Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Everyone was welcomed at Bob’s table, always saying “if you went home hungry, that was your own fault.” Bob’s kindness and generosity will be remembered by many. He is survived by his four children, Robert Perry III, Tambra (Brad) Hicks, Sandra (Rick) Renfro and Karen (Gary) Cihak; 7 grandchildren, Thomas (Andrea) Hoover, Brienne (Eric) Eisen, Mike Hicks, Samantha (Thomas) Carrier, Karissa Renfro, Deaven (Maria) Renfro and Austyn Renfro; 6 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Paige, Ethan, Leon, Colton and Deaven, Jr.; two brothers, Fred (Debbie) Perry and Tom (Carrie) Perry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Marlene Perry; and brother, Raymond Perry. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
