Robert H. Peterman's Obituary
Robert H. Peterman, age 76, passed away in Sebring, Florida, on Monday, February 27, 2023. Bob was born on August 21, 1946, in Muskegon, MI, to his parents John and Doris (Alkema) Peterman. A graduate of Muskegon High School, he went on to work as a department manager and machinist at American Coil Spring for 43 years before retiring in 2008. On December 4, 1966, he married the former Sharon Masser, and they spent 56 wonderful years together. Bob liked to spend time outside, whether it was camping, golfing, fishing, or hunting. He also greatly enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Sharon in the years after retirement, but more than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon Peterman; two children: Scott (Joanne) Peterman and Tammy (Jim) Krbez; four grandchildren: Kimberly (Alex Keeney) Krbez, Kristine (Kris West) Krbez, Jennifer Krbez, and Brendan Peterman; two great-grandchildren: Rhiley and Reece Keeney; two sisters: Linda Corley and Sue VanDrunen; brother in-law, Dave Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Doris Peterman; and sister, Carol Shepherd. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be taking place for Bob from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444.
