Mr. Robert Earl Phillips' Obituary
Mr. Robert Phillips, age 83, passed away Tuesday evening, March 5, 2019. Robert was born July 10, 1935 in Coldwater, MS to Clarence and Bessie Mae (Connoly) Phillips. He was employed by Campbell Wyant, and Cannon (Textron) for 25 years prior to his retirement in 1975. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Tamara Knox and Sonya Davis; 4 grandchildren, Daquan Lattimore, Teyvona Knox, Devins Knox II and Talayha Knox; 4 great grandchildren, Darrin Lattimore, Dominque Lattimore, TeAjia Jackson and Desirae Sargent; sisters, Shirley (Douglas) Peters, Audrey Levy, Mildred (DeLoyd) Echols, Earlean Hall and Bernice Mangum; brothers, Harvey Phillips and Russell Phillips. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell Cunningham, Roy Lee Phillips, Richard Phillips, Clarence Phillips Jr., Hebert Lee Phillips, James Bailey and Arthur Phillips; and son-in-law, Devins Knox. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. with Full Military Rites under the auspices of VFW Muskegon County Council. Burial will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. MEMORIAL CONRIBUTIONS may be made to The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
