Robert Patrick Pierson's Obituary
Robert Patrick Pierson, born June 7, 1989, in Grand Haven, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2025, in Ferrysburg, Michigan. He leaves behind a whole crew who loved him deeply and will miss him endlessly — including his brothers; Ronald (Amber) Pierson and Vernon (Lynn Connolly) Pierson; his girlfriend Kayla Hilderbrand; his stepfather, Leonard Bathrick; three nephews, many aunts and uncles; and more cousins and close friends than anyone could possibly count.
He joins his mother, Verna Pierson, and his uncle, Jim Hawkins, who are no doubt greeting him with open arms.
Robert was happiest doing the things he loved most: fishing (even if the fish didn’t always cooperate), being outdoors, tinkering with cars, playing cards with a mix of luck and questionable strategy, and spending time with the people he loved. He had a knack for turning even the most ordinary day into a story worth retelling.
He will be remembered for his humor, his stubborn streak (which he would say was determination), and the way he could make anyone feel like family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where his loved ones will gather to share stories, laughter, and maybe a drink or two in his honor.
Robert lived fully, loved deeply, and left behind memories that will last forever.
