Robert C. "Bob" Pletcher II's Obituary
Robert C. “Bob” Pletcher II, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was born January 5, 1944 in Muskegon to Gerald and Anna (Euler) Pletcher. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era. He worked for S.D. Warren for 33 years prior to his retirement on July 1, 1999. On May 25, 1963, he married the former Karen M. Torrey in Muskegon. Bob was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and when time allowed, he loved to play golf. But most importantly, he was a family man and cherished the time spent with them. SURVIVORS include his wife of 57 years, Karen; 3 daughters: Vicky (Andrew) Wierengo of Muskegon, Chris (Richard) Panozzo of Grant, and Kimberly Pinter of Laurel, Montana; 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Alyssa, Brett, Hillary, Haley, Robert, and Brendan; brother, Jerry (Marsha) Pletcher of Muskegon; and sister, Karen Choate of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and a sister. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing, services for Bob will be held at a later date.
