Mr. Robert D. Richards, age 67, passed away at Hackley ICU on July 17, 2013. He was born September 30, 1945 to Frank and Helen (Ehrig) Richards in Muskegon. Bob had worked as a security guard for the B.C. Cobb Plant and also as a truck driver for Fitzpatrick Electric prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and CB radio communication, his handle was “Lakeside Grouch.” On August 14, 1965, he married the former Gloria Zwicker in Muskegon and she survives him along with one son, Robert D. Richards, Jr; 4 brothers, Frank (Carmen) Richards, George (Linda) Richards, Henry Richards, Jack (Janice) Richards and sister-in-law, Betty Maycroft. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Bridgett and 2 brothers, Richard and Timothy Richards. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. BURIAL will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. MEMORIALS can be directed to the family.
