Robert Leroy Salsbury's Obituary
Robert Leroy Salsbury age 82, of Ravenna died Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on August 16, 1932 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Emma (French) House. Robert served his country in the United Stated Airforce. He was also a member of the Masons and Shiners’. Robert married Phyllis Jean (Craw) Salsbury on December 29, 1955 in Ravenna, Michigan.
Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years: Phyllis J. Salsbury of Ravenna, 4 Daughters: Cheryl Williams, Kristy Miller, Lisa Harman and Amy (Glen) Hall all of Muskegon. 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Betty (Bobby) Thompson of White Cloud and June (Ron) Lenz of Georgia. 1 Brother: Dan (Sandy) House of Grand Rapids. Sister in-law: Ethel Craw. Special Nephew: Bill (Barb) Salsbury of Muskegon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Eugene Salsbury.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Carl Black officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service. Burial will follow at Ravenna Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Shriners’ Hospital.
