Robert Elmer Smith's Obituary
Robert Elmer Smith “Bob”, age 85, passed away on November 14, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 26, 1939, to Elmer and Elsie (Baron) Smith. Bob lived in the Muskegon area most of his life and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1958.
On June 29, 1985, he married the love of his life, and together they spent 40 years making memories together. Bob loved woodworking and building and built many things for his family over the years. He also enjoyed time out on the river while he fished.
Bob will be remembered by his wife, Sharon; 3 children, Sheila Devries, Michael (Kerry) Smith and Trena (Nick) Strieder; 2 stepsons; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Smith; and 2 sisters, Shirley Haney and Joan Harris.
