Robert Teunis' Obituary
Well done my good and faithful servant. On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, Jesus met Mr. Robert Louis Teunis at the gates of heaven and welcomed him in. Robert was born February 19, 1930 in Grand Haven to Theodore and Selma (Bolthouse) Teunis. On July 6, 1950 he married Rhea Venema.
Robert was retired from Metal Stamping Products and K R Industries. He was a member of Spring Lake Christian Reformed Church. He was very active in the Bitely Community serving on several committees. He was especially proud of his work in restoring the Woodland Park School House in Bitely.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhea; three children: Carol VanDyke (Tom Ohs) of Muskegon, Donna Rosenthal (Charles Chubb) of Spring Lake, and Tim (Connie) Teunis of Dale City, VA; four grandchildren: Erin (Jim) Sturgill, Jason (Bri) Meekhof , Allison (Wally) Hunt, Ryan Teunis (Shivani Deopujari) ; two great-grandchildren: Jamie and Christian; brother, James (Sandy) Teunis; he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Garry VanDyke.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 8, 2019 at Spring Lake Christian Reformed Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Spring Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert may be given to the Woodland Park Schoolhouse Committee, PO Box 116, Bitely Mi. 49309.
