Robert Wayne Thomas' Obituary
Robert Wayne Thomas, (aka Red) age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on October 4, 1941 His Parents are Chancey and Dorothy (Randell) Thomas in Muskegon. Prior to 2016, Bob has worked at Great lakes Plating and GMI Composites for a total of 52 1/2 years. Bob enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors, especially with his friend and best hunting buddy Dick Farkas. On August 16, 1969, he married Diana Jean Holtrop in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include his wife Diana, niece, Kari (Tom) Kresnak; nephews, Kurt (Toni Greiner) Thomas and Eric Boseman; sister-in-law, Ann Thomas and many cousins, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William L. Thomas. A MEMORIAL SERVICE to celebrate Bob’s life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Muskegon, MI 49444. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to the Christian Science Church, 1065 4th St., Muskegon.
