Robert Zielinski's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Allen Zielinski, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was born on November 12, 1931 to Stephen and Esther (Tetzlaff) Zielinski in Manistee, MI. Bob Proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After returning home from the service he worked for Muskegon Piston Ring for over 34 years until his retirement in 1978. Bob enjoyed playing golf, gardening, hunting, fishing and an occasional trip to the casino. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Doris Zielinski; son, Gary Zielinski of Naples, Fl; and 3 daughters, Cheryl (Zielinski) Bishop of Naples, Fl; Brenda (Joel) Symonds of Florida; Sheryl (Jim) Sullivan of Grand Haven; a brother, Mike (Bonnie) Zielinski; along with 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Bob was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Priller. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Bob will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremations Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. The family thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers at this time. VISITATION will take place an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
