Great Grandma Walburn was alway having a smile on her face. I remember seeing her with my Grandma Barb Booth almost every weekend. She always asked me to play my violin for her but i never had the chance to, but I know she is in heaven right now looking over all of us. Their is not one person who saw her and didn't love her. She always lit up the room with happiness along with her beautiful laughter.
Mike, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was always such a nice lady. She was so friendly, kind and thoughtful. Her smile would light up a room. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Still can only refer to "Babe" as Mrs. Walburn ~ one of the sweetest women I've ever known. So many great memories of "growing up" above the funeral home with Mari Jo and Mr. and Mrs. Walburn. She was like my other mother, and like a mom to my own mom, as well! Truly one of a kind ~ grateful to have known Mrs. Walburn and how much she and Mr. Walburn influenced the early years of my life in more ways than one as I now celebrate 25 years working in funeral service myself! Blessings to you Mari Jo and the entire Walburn family. Can only imagine the reunion going on in heaven!!
Babe is the dearest person I know. Every time I put lotion on my own feet, I think of her. She was a true, dear friend, and I miss tucking her in at night, and rubbing her feet, and kissing her goodnight. She lived "I love you more" to the fullest. Babe Walburn was my grandmother who always smiled and loved to laugh. I always remembered the fun i had visiting when she was in Florida with Grandpa and all the goodies they would send to us for Christmas. In the past few years visiting her with my children at Green Achers she loved seeing my three children and how is work and how big they are getting. Love you Grandma.. Tell Grandpa hi..
My husband Stan Johnson had great memories of Babe, Max and their children during his early years. Babe and Max attended our wedding. I'm sure Babe, Max and Stan (along with Stan's parents) are reminiscing in heaven.
