Roberta R. Stine's Obituary
Mrs. Roberta Rachel Stine, age 86, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at her home with her husband and family at her side. She was born in Mecosta County, Michigan on July 14, 1932 to Robert and Eva (Burden) Pike. Roberta enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed bowling and watching baseball and basketball; especially her grandchildren’s games. On July 15, 1950, Roberta married Max R. Stine in Big Rapids and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage. She is survived by Max; three daughters, Pamela (Steve) Mazgalis; Julie Billman, and Patricia (Mike) Struve; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara R. Bragg; son, Richard M. Stine; six brothers, James, George, Gerald, Theo, Richard “Dick”, and Donald; and sister, Ada Johnston. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service.
