My husband and I were so saddened when we saw the picture and write up of your beloved mother and Grandmother. I graduated with your mom in 1943 and we sat next to her at this past class reunion. She seemed just fine at that time. In fact we were just mentioning her at church yesterday. A friend of ours recently met a Chuck Loss and we asked if he was related. Just read about your Mother in the paper and both Pat and I are saddened by the passing of your Mom. My memories of her as our lunch lady at St. Mary's and MCC are all good. She was always, kind, friendly and always smiling.
Mary, I did not know that Mrs. Braun was your Mother or that Charlotte was your sister but it all comes together now and explains why I always thought you were such a nice person, you got it from your Mother.
She is one of those people from my childhood whom I will never forget.
