Roberta Kathleen Norton's Obituary
Mrs. Roberta K. “Bobbie” Norton, age 81 passed away at home Sunday morning, May 18, 2008 following a long illness. She was born in Hart, MI on April 26, 1927 the youngest of six children to Crayton R. and Edna M. (Evans) Campbell. Bobbie was graduated from Hesperia High School and moved to Muskegon in 1947. There she met and then married Harry E. Norton in Chicago on November 14, 1947. Through the years Bobbie was an Avon sales representative and together with her husband, co-owned H&R Upholstery. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a former member of the, Y-Sashers, Hi-Neighbors and was very active in the Fruitport P.T.A. Bobbie and Harry loved dancing, together they taught dancing at the Hts. Eagles and Jolman School. Mrs. Norton is survived by: husband, Harry; two sons, Crayton of Sullivan Twp. and Michael of Norton Shores; a daughter, Anna Marie (Chris) Muratori of Fruitport; four grandchildren, Kristi (Robert) Horan, Rebbeca (Jose) Gonzales, Rachael Hause and Robert (Kristen) Parker and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held, 11:00 A.M., Thursday at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Rev. Lewis Glick officiating at:
Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions: Immanuel Lutheran Church.
