I feel like I've lost a Brother and a mother in your family.

The last time I saw Red, we were both home on leave from the Army. We talked about taking the oath to swear to defend the Consitition of the United States even if it meant dying. Red and I were serving in uniform at a time when it was not a popular thing to do. We agreed that although we were different, we share a bond of courage and independence, and a friendship that was unique to the both of us. I am shock and deeply saddened to lean of his passing. Having Red in my life, even though briefly, will be cherished. I have never laughed harder with another human being as I did with Red. May God comfort his family and friends. The earth has lost a kind and joyous soul and God has welcomed one of the best to his kingdom.##imported-begin##Greg Beattie##imported-end##
