Dad,
You gave me the greatest gift you could have ever given me, your legacy. I am proud to say I am a millwright who had the previledge to learn from one of the best. In todays world, how many can say that they not only learned a trade from their father, but also got work with him.
And because of the work ethic you gave me, your grandson is not only getting a better start than you and I, but as you know, he is just as proud to carry on by learning to apply himself to his trade just as you did.
Just as you carried a piece of me in your wallet, I will carry a piece of you in my heart.
