Robert D. Evans' Obituary
Mr. Robert D. Evans passed away early Wednesday morning, September 23, 2009 in Muskegon. He was born to Alfred and Elizabeth (Day) Evans in Muskegon, and lived most of his life here. He worked at Brunswick for 42 years before retiring. Mr. Evans flew radio controlled airplanes and had been a member of the Seaway Flying Club. He also enjoyed gardening and working around his home. On December 13, 1952 he married Patricia E. Beatty. SURVIVORS include his wife Patricia of Norton Shores; 2 sisters-in-law, Mattie Silvis, Grace Evans, both of Muskegon; 2 brothers-in-law, David Beatty of Muskegon, Charles (Janet) Beatty of South Haven; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Evans; 1 sister, Violet Fredricks. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday at
