Robert E. Yordy's Obituary
Mr. Robert E. Yordy, age 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, June 2, 2010 in Muskegon. He was born June 26, 1928 to Charles A. “Art” and Kathryn (McKenzie) Yordy in Huntington, IN, and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. The love of his life was raising horses, and holding hay and sleigh rides. Bob worked at Anaconda Wire for 35 years until it closed, and then worked at Hackley Hospital, retiring in 1998. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Kenneth (Debra) Yordy of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Steven Yordy; 1 sister, Betty Gutoski; brothers, Paul (Sandra) Yordy of Philadelphia, PA, Donald (Joyce) Yordy of Sun City, FL, Gene (Sharon) Yordy of Ravenna, Douglas and Dudley Yordy, both of Kissimmee, FL; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Terry. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 26, at Egelston Township Cemetery.
