Robert G. Walley's Obituary
Mr. Robert G. Walley, age 83, died early Wednesday morning, December 10, 2003. He was born May 4, 1920 in Muskegon to Gabriel and Helen (Ozusky) Walley and had been a life resident of the area. Mr. Walley was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was the Chief Deputy County Clerk for Muskegon for 25 years before his retirement and was a member of St. Jean’s Catholic Church. On October 17, 1953, he married the former Rosemary Barchak in Muskegon and she survives him along with their son, David (Robin) Walley of Fruitport; 2 grandsons, Nathan and Michael; and a niece, Lyn Wilson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lillian Wilson. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday at St. Jean’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. James Wyse presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM the morning of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by
