Robert L. Axtell's Obituary
Mr. Robert L. Axtell, age 79, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2005. He was born December 12, 1925 in Pepin, Wisconsin to Lloyd and Lora (Hill) Axtell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. Mr. Axtell worked as a chemical engineer and was plant manager at the former Storey Chemical Company in Muskegon for many years before retiring. SURVIVORS include 2 sisters, Jean Jaekel and Rosemary (Reuben) Roehl both of Wausau, WI; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvah and Lynn and sister Lora (Hawley). There will be no services. Mr. Axtell’s ashes will be interred alongside other family at Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin, WI. Arrangements handled by The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W.
