Robert LaVerne Cochran's Obituary
Mr. Robert LaVerne Cochran, age 70, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007. Mr. Cochran was born January 14, 1937 to Earl and Sarah Jane (Pearsall) Cochran in Flint. He was employed by the County of Muskegon as a janitor for 25 years before retiring in 1993. On June 12, 1982, he married the former Betty Crawford in Dalton Township. Bob was a member of Church of Jesus Christ – Latter Day Saints in Fremont where he was Secretary to the President and also carried the Melchizedek Priesthood. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and watching baseball. He is survived by his wife, Betty Cochran; 3 daughters, Mary Joslin of Muskegon, Nancy (Joseph) Gruszecki of North Muskegon and Janet Hugall of Muskegon; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene of West Tawas ,MI and step-brother, Albert Crawford of Beulah, MI; several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roy and step-brother, Larry Crawford and sister, Ella Mae Hilton. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2007 at
