Robert M. "Ranger Bob" Klein's Obituary
Mr. Robert M. “Ranger Bob” Klein, age 48, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 in Muskegon. He was born October 6, 1961 in Muskegon to Carl E. and Peggy A. (Meyers) Klein, Sr.. Bob served his country for 15 years in the U.S. Navy, working as a boiler technician, chemist and fire fighter, and was a Veteran of the Gulf War. He then worked 15 years at Production Fabricators in Muskegon. Bob was a member of VFW Post #446, Fruitport Eagles, Twisting Trails, and an active member of Ducks Unlimited. He was a NASCAR specialist, enjoyed Yamaha snowmobiles and camping, and was very interested in giving and helping out charities. On April 25, 1981 he married the former Jeanne M. Snider, and she survives him along with 2 children, Jack (Amanda) Klein and Krissi (Jason) Duke both of Muskegon; granddaughter, Mercedez Duke; mother, Peggy Klein; his dogs, Rotten and Bear; sister, Jackie (Gary) Golden, brothers, Jerry (Toni) Klein and Carl Klein, Jr; he was “Special Uncle Bob” to many nieces and nephews; and leaves behind many good friends. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Carl Klein, Sr. and brother, John Klein. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 12 Noon Monday, August 9, 2010 at VFW Post #446 (165 S.
