Roberto Sergio Patino's Obituary
Mr. Roberto Sergio “Rhett” Patino, 54, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 30, 1962 to Raymundo and Petra (Flores) Patino in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Roberto was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was employed by DTE for 27 years. He was very involved with baseball in the Muskegon community. He coached Reeths Puffer Youth Baseball, was a pitching coach for Muskegon Community College, coached the Grand Rapids A’s, the Muskegon Channel Cats, and the Muskegon Regulators. He also owned The Off Seasons Hitting Club. Roberto is survived by his wife Tracy Patino; children, Roberto “Berto” Patino, Jr., Dominic Charles Patino, Brandon Patino, Disirae Patino, Aislinn Patino, Chavez Patino and Justin Buris; step-daughters, Janella Morse and Amanda Florez; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rogelio Patino, Rosita Graham, Rebecca Wentzloff, Ricardo Patino, Renelda Nelson, Romilda Kiehnau, Reynaldo Patino and Rolando Patino; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Roberto was preceded in death by his father Raymundo Patino and his mother Petra Patino; daughter, Mary Ann Patino; and brother, Raymundo Patino, Jr. A time to gather with Roberto’s family will be held at Fellowship Reformed Church on Saturday, February 4th, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with a “Celebration of His Life” beginning at 2:30 PM.
