Robert "Tony" Corinti's Obituary
Mr. Robert “Tony” Corinti, age 85, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Knollview Nursing Home. He was born December 14, 1920 in Muskegon to Joseph and Onesta (Mazzetti) Corinti and lived his entire life in the area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines and served during WWII. On June 13, 1953, he married the former Patricia Ann Kenny in Muskegon. He retired from Continental Motors in 1987 after 37 years as a machinist. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where he served as an usher and volunteered with Bingo. He was also a member of the Muskegon Eagles Aerie #668. SURVIVORS include his wife, Patricia; 5 children, Joseph (Diana) Corinti of Arizona, Robert E. Corinti of Muskegon, Thomas Corinti of Florida, Timothy Corinti of Muskegon, Debra Little of Cloverville; 4 grandchildren, Brett Alan Little, Tiffany (Clinton) Green, Arielle Corinti and Amanda Corinti; 4 sisters, Maxine (Karl) Janowski, Mary (Roy) Olovson, Shirley Cooper, Linda Corinti; 1 brother-in-law, Fred (Cheryl) Kenny; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Peter, Ernest, and Mario Corinti, 1 sister, Eva Jazdzyk, and 1 brother-in-law, Larry Kenny. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, July 17, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Ernest J. Bernott presiding. INTERMENT will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Military Honors offered by the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. VISITATION with Tony’s family will be one hour prior to the Mass, 9-10 AM Monday at the church.
