I met Robin through our dental practice and I knew every time Robin was coming in I was going to laugh that day...Robin was always the person you could ask a question and she was going to give you a straight answer and then follow it up with something funny. I loved her views on how to view the world we live in. Carl and Robin were meant for each other and to create the beautiful family she loved so much. My prayers go out to you Carl and your family that she spoke of so often. I hope the memories of her wonderful spirit and great smile help you through the sadness. I will miss Robin but will hold on to her spirit.
You are so loved, Robin and I know you are happy in the arms of Mom and Dad!
Robin and I met while we were teenagers working at Hardy Herps downtown Muskegon. We imediately became friends and started hanging out after work. She was so much fun and so real. For 40 years we have kept in touch and remained dear friends and we would talk on the phone for hours each time we spoke. I moved to Florida 13 years ago, she was what I missed most about Michigan. There are no words for how much I miss her. She was out traveling the last time I was in Michigan so we did not get to visit. I had hoped to see her on my next trip up there. I have so many wonderful memories that I shared with Robin over the years. The last time we talked she called me because I was in bad shape and still in the hospital. My prayers go out to Carl, Randi, Sammi, her grand children and the Morris family during this difficult time.
Words cannot express our families deepest sympathy to all those Robin has left behind ~ our loss is heaven's gain. May you all find strength in your faith, family and friends to help you through this difficult journey. She will be deeply missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you today and all tomorrows - The Brush Family
This came as a total shock to me since I have known Robin for nearly 45 years.Growing up together as my sisters friend their were so many good times back in the day. Since I photograph a lot of wildlife and nature and post to facebook Robin would always ask If she could use my photos for her students. Well I finally had to tell her that she would never have to ask and it was my pleasure that she shared my pictures with her class. To me sharing what I see in nature with a young generation is very important to the future and I believe she saw it the same way. I know she was very proud of the kids she taught and teaching if she was willing to use some of my work and believe took in life lessons from others to pass along to her students. Just that act alone put a smile on my face as I know she did so many others. Your friend always, Rick Hegenbart
