Mr. Robin G. Mustard's Obituary
Mr. Robin G. Mustard, 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior early Friday morning, February 17, 2017. He was born January 1, 1942 to Cecil and Eva (Schuitema) Mustard in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Many years ago Robin worked at Chet’s Market. He later graduated from Western Michigan University with his Bachelors and Masters degrees, and began his teaching career. Robin taught at Steele School for 35 years before retiring, was an active member of the Salvation Army for 25 years, and was involved with the Boy Scouts. He was a lifelong musician, played piano in several area churches, and belonged to Anna Schuitema’s accordion band. Robin is survived by 2 brothers, Vernon (Jean) Mustard of Coopersville, Dallas Mustard of Muskegon; 2 nieces and 4 nephews; and his good friend Ken Doctor. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, February 23, at the Salvation Army, 1221 Shonat St., with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
