Mr. Rodney Scott Adcox's Obituary
Rodney “Scott” Adcox, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2013. Scott was born December 1, 1959 in Dalton, Georgia. In 1987 he married the former Shannon Crist; together they were blessed with two beautiful children, Joseph and Joy. Scott owned The Furniture Outlet on Apple Avenue. He was an active supporter of Western Michigan Teen Challenge and a member of Christian Life Center Church. He was an honest, loving, and compassionate man of God. Scott will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He is SURVIVED by his wife, Shannon; son, Joseph; daughter, Joy; mother, Mildred; brother, Lee Adcox; and sister, Joy Adcox-Sutton. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Adcox and brother, David Adcox. A VISITATION will be held on Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 10:00am with a MEMORIAL SERVICE to follow at 11:00am at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey Street with Rev. Curtiss McClain officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to Western Michigan Teen Challenge.
