My prayers n love is with Rodney n his family.. I've known his family for years.. But only met Rodney a few times.. He was always happy go lucky n always smiling.. His smile would light up any room.. So sorry for your loss. My prayers n heart is with you all.
I never met Rodney in person, but whenever he knew I was on the phone with my daughter, he always wanted to talk with me. He was so sweet. I often asked about him as I felt an instant friendship with him. I was saddened when I heard about his being so ill and kept up on his health. He was in my prayers daily. I am going to miss our chats.
I knew Rodney when he was young and lived in Muskegon and later when he was a teenager and lived at the Benston Home in Whitehall. My sons would play basketball with him at the home. He loved to come to my home and play with my dog on occasion. After he moved to the Ducey Home, he would call me at least once a week and ask about my family and my dog. I am sorry I lost touch with him over the last years of his life. He will always have a special corner in my heart. My condolences to his family and the special people who provided support for him.
I met Rodney through his participation in Encompass Ministries, the special needs ministry at Fellowship Church in Muskegon. He was such a sweet guy, would always knock on my door when he arrived (scaring me half to death, which he thought was funny!), and enjoyed playing games and interacting with the other friends. I'll miss his smile and his hugs, and we'll be praying for his family & friends.

Rodney you are so precious to me. You always waited for people to come to work. So buzzy you could keep going forever. Doing puzzles, listen to music, watch movies. Of course big sloppy kiss and you thought it was funny. Going to hockey games. Doing awesome at special Olympics.. I will miss you so much..
Rodney was great. Nearly always happy. He loved his family, and he loved his family at ducey. He was a man that knew wat he liked and advocated for himself fiercely. He will always be remembered fondly

Rodney was an amazing person. He was so friendly and a joy to be around. I remember how much he enjoyed outing to Lake Michigan. His laugh was infectious he could put a smile on anyone's face with that laugh.
