Rod,
You were always a very kindhearted man. You taught me everything I needed to know about fishing, but most importantly you brought love and joy into my Aunt Annie's life. You will never be forgotten.

Every time we came to visit, you always made us feel welcome in your home. You were a great cook (loved those homemade baked beans), a good outdoorsman (thanks for teaching Thomas about fishing), and a fabulous gardener (your flowers were beautiful), but most of all you brought a lot of joy and adventure to my sister-in-law Ann's life, and for that, I say a BIG thank you. You will be remembered fondly.
Love, Susan
Rod,
You were such a kind and decent man. Thank you for bringing so much love and joy into my Aunt Annie's life. You will truly be missed.
Love, Amy
Rodney, you were a great man who loved his family more than words could ever explain. You will never be forgotten. Love K
To the man who had a hand in making me the person I am today; I say thank you! Life would not have been the same without this man in it. My dad was my first love. So many of my childhood memories involve him. From summers at the cottage and Cedar Point, to playing softball in the street in front of our house, to learning to drive at the beach; I had a wonderful childhood. You were the person I called whenever I needed help with something regardless of what it was. You had an answer for everything; "the man full of useless information." I just hope I raise Claire to be half the person you raised me to be. Dad, you will forever be missed and I love you dearly! And don't worry, I'll always be careful.
Anne,
Aunt Millie and Uncle John told us about Rod's passing. We were so sorry to hear the sad news. We echo the thoughts of Karla Bourdon. You and Rod's family are in our prayers. Aunt Millie and Uncle John asked us to also send their love and prayers.
